i’ve always wondered what my favourite fashion bloggers are obsessing over and now thanks to ‘currently obsessed’, we can keep track of the most current fashionable finds! i’ve recently joined in on the fun, and you can stalk my fashion faves at currently obsessed.
i can tell you that you’ll finds plenty of my favourite things: black, shoes, bags and GOLD galore at all different pricepoints. so, stalk me here!
black sweater: t. babaton (it’s actually called the erin sweater! too funny) // indigo skinny jeans: old navy // oxford shoes: steven by steve madden // necklace: vintage pearls // bag: louis vuitton
i liked this combination because it’s practical with a touch of prep (cuffed jeans and pearls). the metallic oxfords add a little unexpected edge to an otherwise basic look.
top: h&m, skinny jeans: old navy, scarf and shoes: zara, bag: louis vuitton, watch: invicta
when i started a blog, i wanted to do something a little different than a typical personal style blog. not only do i think there’s so much more to life than what you buy and wear, i would probably bore people to tears re-posting outfits and accessories!
when i can, i’ll share an outfit with you. this is what i wore to the office for meetings one day this week and fits my style rule of “you don’t have to spend a lot to look like you did”.
some of my personal style fundamentals:
- mixing high and low priced items can often times look so much more lux (and less try hard) than head to toe designer/brand names.
- a kick of colour or pattern always brightens up a look, too. especially when you wear as much black as i do.
- an investment piece really adds that little something and spending more on a bag or statement watch can take your style to the next level.
